This Privacy Policy explains how Blog Flow Generator ("Service"), operated by ClearValue Advisory ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

    Summary: We collect only what's necessary to run the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Generated content belongs to you.
  

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and hashed password. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA512 and are never stored in plain text.

Content you create: Topics, schedules, generated posts, CTAs, style settings, and site configurations you create within the Service.

Usage data: Number of posts generated per month, feature usage patterns, and error logs used to improve reliability.

Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We store only Stripe customer and subscription IDs — your card details are never stored on our servers.

API keys: If you provide a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Anthropic API key, it is encrypted using AES-256 before storage.

Technical data: IP address (used for rate limiting and security only), browser type, and service interaction logs retained for 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate and provide the Service (post generation, scheduling, CMS publishing)
To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, post-ready notifications)
To process payments and manage your subscription
To diagnose technical issues and improve the platform
To communicate product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. AI Processing

Your topics, keywords, and style settings are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate blog content. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We send only the minimum necessary context for generation.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Anthropic — AI content generation (your topics/keywords)
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
Resend — transactional email delivery (email address and name only)
Unsplash — featured image search (keyword queries, no personal data)
Supabase — database and file storage (data encrypted at rest)
Railway — application hosting (infrastructure provider)

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, retained for 7 years).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access: Request a copy of your data
Correction: Update inaccurate information via Settings
Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account
Portability: Export your posts and content
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email

7. Cookies

We use localStorage to store your authentication token. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any tracking pixels.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
Passwords hashed with PBKDF2-SHA512 (100,000 iterations)
API keys encrypted with AES-256 at rest
Rate limiting on all authentication endpoints
JWT tokens expire after 30 days

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us immediately.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We ensure all providers maintain adequate data protection standards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
